So let's get to the topic of today. So Mississauga is a very popular destination for new immigrants. There are many factors as to why people choose Mississauga as a place for them to reside in. Many of the factors include that, you know what? You don't stick out like a sore thumb. Everybody is basically from some part of the world or another. It's, it's got a lot of diversity. It's got lots of different ethnic groups here that live here. So if you're a new immigrant and you want to start your life in Canada, in Mississauga, you know what you'll feel just at home, Mississauga is a busy city. It has a lot of jobs for new immigrants. It has some great parks, you know, a lot of families go out to the parks and immigrants love to do that actually.
So you'd have your park barbecues down in the parks. There's also low crimes here. It's not one of those places where you have to feel unsafe walking at night. It's pretty safe overall. You know what? There's a lot of different ethnicities here. You've got, you've got the communities of Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arab, Afghans, Pakistanis, Italians, Portuguese, Polish people, Russians, you know, on and on. It's, it's a big mix of different kinds of immigrants. And this is what makes Mississauga very special. It's, it's a vibrant community of different types of people. Different events are being held in different parts of the city. And, it's got some amazing summer activities, especially at the celebration square and square one. I highly recommend a place to visit or attend. Mississauga is also great for immigrants. You got lots of greenery, you've got lots of parks.
You're very close to lake Ontario. So very easy access to go for a stroll, have a family picnic, a barbecue, and just basically take your dog out for a walk. It's just beautiful out there. Mississauga is also great because it's close to Toronto. So if you want to go down to see family in Toronto, go to the airport, go downtown. It's very close to that. And there's lots of accommodations here and housing options for immigrants that want to live here. So you could rent the place, or if you have the money, you can also buy other communities that are in, in consideration close to Mississsauga would be Brampton. Milton, Burlington. Oakville is another good spot as well as Caledon. So these are other areas outside of Mississauga to explore. So if you are looking for cheaper home options, those are places to consider as well.
And we are making videos on all those different cities in the near future. So keep an eye up for immigrants. You know what? You got better variety of foods here. You've got stuff that you expect at home. You'll find it here. You've got different restaurants, all kinds of ethnic food. And it's just great, great for people that wanna have a taste of home, but in a big city like Mississauga. And honestly, nobody really cares about your race here. Everybody pretty much gets along as long as you're respectful for people's communities and different religions and ethnicities. They'll get along just fine. Here. I live in Mississauga since 2006, I've never had anybody be racist to me. It's been so far really great. I have respect to people. You know what? There is different events like there's also Eid and in and Ramada events, prayers, as long as you respect everybody else, you should have no problems enjoying Mississauga when you're a visible minority or an immigrant. I mean the only con would be rent and house prices in Mississauga. Other than that, it's fantastic to stay and live in
Is Mississauga a great city for immigrants. Mississauga has a strong economy, good infrastructure and decent property sizes.
